Semantic Model

Tursio automatically infers a lightweight semantic model from the data sources, capturing semantic properties including:

  • Name simplification
  • Relationship detection
  • Ontologies (time series, codes, etc.)
  • Dimensions and measures
  • Data and value types
  • Value aspects (numbers, currencies, etc.)
  • Valid aggregations
  • Default measures
  • Aliases
  • PIIs

The semantic model is presented in both tabular and visual formats. Users can refine either view for better accuracy and querying experience, but they are not required to create the model manually.

Tursio uses the semantic model to auto-prompt users, guiding them step by step in constructing data questions while ensuring 100% correct responses. This removes the burden of prompt engineering and instead provides a vibe coding experience with auto-completions that users can apply freely.
